Muscial duo returns to play three concerts

TWO of Scotland's best-loved traditional musicians, Aly Bain and Phil Cunningham are to play three dates in Orkney this August.
The duo is to play in the Orkney Arts Theatre in Kirkwall on Thursday,
August 5 and in the Stromness Town Hall on the Friday. They will then
head out to Westray on Saturday, to play their first isles appearance in
the Westray Community Centre.
Multi-instrumentalist Phil and Shetland fiddler Aly have toured and
recorded together since 1988 and always attract a good audience in
Orkney. They are known for their witty and humorous anecdotes as well as
their excellent musicianship Phil and Aly's Scottish tour will see them
play nearly 40 gigs altogether and will take them all over the country.
